Poona Club Golf Course wins India’s best course award at GIA meet
Pune, 24th October 2023: Pune’s very own Poona Club Golf Course (PCGC) proudly secured the prestigious title of the best golf course in India at the Golf Industry Association’s (GIA) two-day national summit. The event, which took place at the esteemed DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram earlier this month, witnessed PCGC’s triumph in the golfing arena.
Ikram Khan received the GIA Best Golf Course Award at the GIA Summit held at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram in the presence of GIA President Anil Seolekar.
Adding to the celebration, PCGC’s greenskeeper, Hardhada, was honored with the Excellence in Turf Management Award, marking a double victory for the club.
The comprehensive two-day summit featured a diverse program, encompassing business meetings, technical conferences, exhibitions by industry-related companies and organizations, and the eagerly anticipated annual awards ceremony. Renowned global brands took the stage to showcase their latest offerings, creating an engaging environment for industry professionals.
