Poona College distributes meals, Sanitizers and mask to the needy
Pune, April 29, 2020: Poona College is preparing more than 700 food packets everyday and distributing it to the needy people at different locations in Pune City in the wake of the lockdown over the novel coronavirus spread.
Poona College Teachers and Alumni contributed for those who are still in a hope that someone will come and give them some Ration n daily food during this lockdown period. Gen. Secretary of Anjuman Khairul Islam Mumbai Mr. Hani Farid and Chairman Nisar I patel has supported strongly for the cause.
Department of Chemistry of the College has also prepared Sanitizer and distributed to Teaching and Non teaching staff, police personnel, rickshaw drivers, labourers and Court staff. Poona College Students, NSS Volunteers , NYK Volunteers, Police Mitra Mayuresh Jadhav, Farhaan, Azhar, Affan, Suhail, Wasim, Atik, Shahrukh, Muskaan, Aslam, DYC Yeshwant Mankhedkar, Police Inspector Mrs. Vaishali Chandgude Madam and Adv. Rasika Kulkarni has helped for the success of this distribution.
