Poona Golf Club Wins 26th Grover Vineyards Inter Club Championship
Pune, 2nd March 2022: Poona Club Golf Course team led by Ikram Khan won the 26th edition of the Grover Vineyards Inter Club Golf Championship with a record margin, at the Poona Club Golf course here last Sunday.
The home team defeated Bombay Presidency Club, Mumbai, while another Mumbai team. The United Services Club finished in the third place and Mumbai’s Willingdon Sports Club ended fourth.
Poona Club course’s Andrew Pinto, who started with a handicap of 14 defeated 13-handicapper Sanjay Maini of United Services Club, Mumbai
Hands down to earn 2.5 points and was later adjudged as the most valuable player of the tournament.
