Pune, 29th April 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to conduct a pivotal meeting today rallying support for the grand alliance candidates across all four Lok Sabha constituencies in the politically dynamic Pune district. Following the meeting, PM Modi will be accommodated at Raj Bhavan in Pune for the night.

This marks Prime Minister Modi’s third visit to Pune within the past year, previously gracing the city for the inauguration of the metro project, various developmental initiatives, and the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak award distribution ceremony. Now, his visit coincides with the fervor of the Lok Sabha elections, underscoring the district’s significance in the electoral landscape.

As preparations for the meeting gather momentum, Mahayuti gears up for a robust demonstration of support. Modi’s itinerary includes a stopover in Karad before proceeding to the meeting venue at Racecourse in Pune Cantonment, slated for 5:30 pm, facilitated by helicopter transport. Joining him will be Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, and other key leaders representing the constituent parties of the Grand Alliance.

Following the conclusion of the meeting, PM Modi will retire for the night at Raj Bhavan. While details regarding interactions with invitees at the accommodation remain undisclosed by the Prime Minister’s Office, meticulous arrangements have been made to accommodate an estimated crowd of one and a half to two lakh citizens for the gathering. Notably, approximately 35 thousand individuals have received special invitations.

Providing seamless logistical support, BJP state vice president Rajesh Pande and city president Dheeraj Ghate announced comprehensive parking arrangements for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and buses, ensuring the convenience of attendees.
