Pune: 10-Year-Old Prevents Thief From Stealing Grandmother’s Gold Chain
Pune, 9th March 2023: A 10-year-old from Pune confronted a chain thief and successfully recovered her grandmother’s jewellery. A CCTV camera filmed the occurrence.
The incident occurred when Lata Ghag (60) was returning home from the Model colony in Shivajinagar, Pune, with her grandchildren. A young man riding a two-wheeler arrived and requested directions to an address. He abruptly attempted to remove Lata Ghag’s gold necklace from her neck.
Ghah’s 10-year-old granddaughter stepped in right away and began punching the chain snatcher in the face. She struck him in the face repeatedly, and her grandmother did the same, which caused the thief to flee the scene.
