Pune: 100-Feet Flag Pole Being Built In Pimple Nilakh By PCMC
Pune, 17th January 2023: A 100-feet flag pole is being built in Pimple Nilakh, and construction is now underway and expected to be finished soon. The flagpole is being installed at Rakshak Chowk in Pimple Nilakh on the BRTS corridor.
Together with Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) representatives, former Corporator Aarti Chondhe visited the site to assess the situation.
Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation began construction on the flagpole after obtaining approval from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. This demand has been made by the citizens of Aundh Military Camp and personnel of the Indian Army for a very long time. In response, Aarti Chondhe followed up with the PCMC, and then on behalf of the administration, a proposal was forwarded to the Army’s 330 Infantry Brigade headquarters in Aundh.
