Pune: 10th Class Girl Dies By Suicide Due To Pre-Board Exam Pressure
Mohammadwadi, 9th November 2024: A 10th-class student of the Bishop’s Co-Ed School in Undri, Pune, allegedly took her own life by hanging herself. The incident took place around 8 pm on Friday at her house in Mohammadwadi.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5), R. Raja, spoke to Punekar News, stating, “The deceased was a 10th-grade student. Due to the pressure of studies with the 10th pre-examination set to start in two days, she died by suicide by hanging herself with the help of a ceiling fan. There are no signs of foul play or complaints regarding the incident.”
The school has not issued any formal statement regarding the tragedy.
