Pune: 1198 New Corona Patients In Pune District, 9 Deaths
Pune, November, 27, 2020: With the addition of 1198 fresh Coronavirus positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 340,460 in Pune district. Also, 674 patients got discharged from hospitals while 9 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 340,460 patients 321,092 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 8362 people have died. There are still 11,170 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 11,170, 6799 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 16,06,085 people have been tested in the district.
The 340,460 patients include 168,866 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 91,750 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 6517 from Cantonment areas, 56,548 are from Rural areas, and 16,779 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 93,09,787 across the country. Out of this, 87,18,517 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 135,715 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 455,555 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
