Pune: 13 Students of MIT World Peace University Kothrud Test COVID Positive
Kothrud, 27th December 2021: A total of 13 students from the third-year mechanical engineering course at MIT World Peace University in Kothrud has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
As per the directions given by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Maharashtra state government, students who have taken two doses of the vaccine against Coronavirus disease (COVID) have been allowed to attend regular classes.
Students at MIT were admitted only by following the rules regarding the prevention of COVID19. However, after testing positive, they have been kept in isolation.
