Pune: 14-Year-Old Boy Booked For Posting Story On Instagram Asking Classmate To Be His Wife; Police Registered Case Against POCSO
Hadapsar, 23rd November 2022: A 14-year-old schoolboy posted a story of a 13-year-old girl from his school on Instagram asking, “Would you be my wife?” After this, a case was registered against the concerned boy.
The Hadapsar police have registered a case against the boy for molestation under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
The victim girl’s mother has filed a complaint in this regard. According to the information given by the police, the victim and the accused boy studied in a reputed school in the Hadapsar area.
The boy was chasing the girl for the past few days. He had also threatened the girl to be his friend or else he would kidnap her. But the girl ignored him.
Seeing that the girl was ignoring him, the accused boy took her photo and posted a story on his Instagram account.
Following this, the girl told her mother about the same. The mother then filed a complaint at Hadapsar police station.
