Pune: 15 to 20 Two-Wheeler Riders Fell Due To Oil Spill From Tanker in Pimpri Chinchwad

Thergaon, 8th July 2022: About 15-20 two-wheelers have fallen due to an oil spill at Dange Chowk in Pimpri-Chinchwad city. Some two-wheelers drivers were injured in the incident, fire brigade informed. Many two-wheelers fell due to an oil spill in the grade separator at Dange Chowk. Upon receiving this information, the fire brigade reached the spot and cleared the road with water.

According to the information received, at around 11 AM at Dange Chowk, an oil leak from a tanker in a grade separator caused 15-20 two-wheelers to fall. This information was given to the Thergaon Social Foundation by the citizens present there. Foundation members arrived at the scene and stopped traffic.

Until then, the other members reported the incident to the fire department. Firefighters rushed to the spot and washed away the oil on the road. Similar incidents have taken place in Pimpri-Chinchwad in the past. Therefore, two-wheelers drivers need to take special care to ride their bikes. Otherwise, the possibility of a major accident cannot be ruled out. Oil tanker drivers should also be careful about this. So that such incidents do not happen due to oil spills.
