Pune, 8th July 2022: Shiv Sena’s Minister of State Vijay Shivtare revolted against Shiv Sena and decided to join Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s group. Replying to him, Shiv Sainiks from the Purandar Assembly constituency met Uddhav Thackeray and assured him that they are with him.

A few days after Eknath Shinde’s mutiny, Shivtare held a press conference in Pune and clarified his role. After the formation of the new government in the state, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was congratulated through advertisements.

Shivtare is being harassed by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the Purandar assembly constituency. He is being repeatedly targeted by Former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and MP Supriya Sule. It is also alleged that Shivtare did not get the full strength of Shiv Sena in the 2019 elections. Therefore, Shivtare Shinde, who had been away from politics for a year, became active once again due to Shinde’s revolt.

Although Shivtare has taken a complementary role, all the office bearers in the Purandar assembly constituency are with Shiv Sena. All the 300 office bearers went to Mumbai to pay their respects to Uddhav Thackeray. Uddhav Thackeray met all office bearers and Shiv Sainiks. All the office-bearers said, “We don’t want anything, only Shiv Sena and you.” “Even though the former MLA from Purandar constituency is gone, the entire Shiv Sena and all office bearers, Shiv Sainiks are with you,” they added further.

Fursungi, Shewalwadi, Undri, Pisoli, Uruli Vadachiwadi, Autadewadi, Ambegaon Pathar, Dattanagar, Mangdewadi, Gujarwadi, Jambulwadi, Kolewadi, Bhilarewadi in Purandar constituency came to Pune Municipal Corporation area and a large number of Shiv Sainiks from here and from rural areas visited Mumbai.
