Pune: 1505 new Corona patients in Pune district, 13 deaths

Pune, Feb 28, 2021: With the addition of 1505 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 4,06,453 in Pune district. Also, 1087 patients got discharged from hospitals while 13 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 4,06,453 patients 3,87,527 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 9235 people have died. There are still 9860 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 9860, 5988 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 23,05,633 people have been tested in the district.
The 4,06,453 patients include 2,01,928 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 1,05,281 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 7157 from Cantonment areas, 71,397 are from Rural areas, and 20,690 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
