Pune: 16 Vehicles Vandalized In Warje; Police Launch Search For Accused

Warje, 23rd December 2024: In a shocking act of vandalism, a gang of miscreants shattered the windows of 16 four-wheelers in the Gokulnagar area of Warje early Monday morning. The incident, which occurred around 3 am, was captured on CCTV cameras. Police have registered a case against unidentified individuals and are actively searching for the accused.

According to the Warje police, three youths were seen walking along the road, hurling stones at parked vehicles and breaking their windows. The damaged vehicles include a tempo, a rickshaw, and a van. Most of these vehicles belonged to owners who rely on them for their livelihood, either as drivers or through rental services.

The incident has left local citizens enraged, as the senseless act has caused significant financial losses to those affected. Senior Police Inspector Manoj Shendge is overseeing the investigation, with efforts underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

Authorities have assured the public that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the act of vandalism.
