Pune: 17-Year-Old Disappeared On Day Of Immersion; Police Are Investigating Case Further

Pune, 12th September 2022: A 17-year-old youth who had gone for immersion with his family in the Somwar Peth area has disappeared. The missing youth has been identified as Piyush Chandrakant Thorat (17). In this regard, his mother Manisha Chandrakant Thorat (45), a resident of Mangalmurthy Road, Rasta Peth has lodged a complaint.

On the day of immersion, Piyush went to the Shahu Park area in Somvar Peth along with his family. After that, the family noticed that he was not there and they thought that he must have gone home as his health was not good. After some time, his family went home. Then it was noticed that Piyush was not at home either and then they started to search for him in the nearby localities, friends.

In the end, his mother lodged a complaint with the police as his whereabouts were not known. Police sub-inspector Meera Tryambake is investigating the case.
