Pune: Many Vehicles Damaged In Pashan Accident, No Casualty
Pashan, 5th December 2024: An accident involving multiple vehicles occurred in Pashan at approximately 5:30 PM today. While no casualties have been reported, 3-4 vehicles sustained damage in the incident, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Himmat Jadhav.
The driver of the vehicle, a Gloster SUV, has been detained by the police and sent for a medical examination to determine if intoxication or other factors were involved.
“The complainant in the case is at the police station, and the process of filing a formal complaint is underway,” DCP Jadhav informed.
The police are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the accident. Further details, including the condition of the damaged vehicles and the driver’s medical examination results, are awaited.
Traffic in the area was briefly disrupted but has since returned to normal. Authorities have urged motorists to remain cautious and follow safety protocols.
