Pune: Fitness Gone Wrong? Hinjawadi IT Techie Dies After Workout

Hinjawadi, 5th December 2024: In a tragic series of events, two individuals have died after experiencing health complications linked to exercise routines. The death of Kumar Maharashtra Kesari, Vikram Parkhi, due to a heart attack while exercising, has already shocked the community. Adding to the concern, a 44-year-old techie, Sanjeev Kumar, passed away following a workout at a gym in Hinjawadi.

Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of Hinjawadi, reportedly visited his local gym on Tuesday for his regular workout. Shortly after returning home, he began experiencing breathing difficulties and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, doctors declared Kumar dead during treatment.

Kumar, an engineer employed in a company at Hinjewadi IT Park, was known for his active lifestyle. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Hinjawadi police station, Pimpri Chinchwad police. The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed, pending medical reports.

These back-to-back incidents have raised questions about the safety and health risks associated with exercise routines, particularly for individuals with underlying health conditions. Experts have reiterated the importance of consulting with medical professionals before undertaking rigorous workout regimes.
