Pune: 3 Policemen Booked For Abusing Hotel Manager In Drunken State

Mundhwa, 22nd November 2022: A case has been registered against three policemen of Pune City Police for abusing and beating the manager of Metro Lodge hotel in Mundhwa, Pune.

 

The said policemen are namely Umesh Mariswami Mathpati (29) who is posted at Faraskhana Police Station, Amit Suresh Jadhav (37) of Samarth traffic division, and Yogesh Bhagwan Gaikwad (32) of Chandannagar Police Station.

 

Kunal Dashrath Madre (27), manager of Metro Lodge Hotel, and a resident of Ghorpadigaon has filed a complaint at Mundhwa Police Station.

According to police, the bar at the hotel was about to close when the accused reached there. They drank alcohol and demanded more. This led to an argument and they beat the staff.

 

After getting the information about the incident, Senior Police Inspector Ajit Lakde of Mundhwa Police Station, Police Inspector (Crime) Pradeep Kakde
and Sub-Inspector Shivaji Kate visited the spot.

 

Further investigation of the crime is being conducted by the police sub-inspector Ashwini Bhosale.
