Pune: Shop Owner In Keshavnagar Attacked With Knife For Extortion, Accused Arrested By Mundhwa Police
Mundhwa, 22nd November 2022: Panic spread after three drunken youths attacked the shop of Hariom Trading Company in the Keshavnagar area around 10.00 pm on Monday (November 21) and tried to kill the trader.
A case has been registered against the youths in the case of extortion and an attempt to kill at Mundhwa Police Station, Pune city police.
More information in this regard is that on Monday, three drunken youths demanded money and destroyed the materials in the shop of complainant Omaram Durgaram Chaudhary, and threatened to kill him.
Also, the said youths broke the windows of the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) bus, Swift, and a minibus standing on the road to spread terror in the area. At this time the accused Akash Jadhav, Sohail Shaikh, Aniket Puri, and other accomplices tried to kill Kaushik Kumar Reddy, harboring the anger of the previous fight.
Due to this incident, panic has spread in the area and there is a demand to take strict steps to arrest the criminals.
On getting information about the incident, Senior Police Inspector Ajit Lakade of Mundhwa Police Station ordered immediate action. The investigation team has arrested accused Akash Anil Jadhav, Sohail Shabbir Shaikh, and Aniket Sunil Puri, and the search for the other accused is on.
