Pune: 38 People File Complaint Against Builder Amit Lunkad For Rs 48 Crore Fraud

Pune, 24th June 2021: Till today afternoon, a total of 38 people had approached the economic offences wing (EOW) of the Pune City Police Crime Branch against builder Amit Lunkad. They have claimed Rs 48 Crore from him.
Lunkad has been arrested by Pune police for allegedly cheating a man of Rs 21.26 lakh under the pretext of giving him a 15 per cent return per month. An FIR is registered in this regard with the Yerwada police station. Now more people are coming forward with similar complaints.
According to the police, the complainant had met builder Lunkad in July 2019 at the Lunkad Realty office in Kalyani Nagar. At the time, Lunkad offered him a 15 per cent return on investment. However, he failed to pay the return or refund the invested amount.
