Pune: 4447 New Cases in Pune District, Check Ward Wise Cases in Pune City
Pune, Sep 8, 2020: With the addition of 4447 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 1,93,013 in Pune district. Also, 2819 patients got discharged from hospitals while 80 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 1,93,013 patients 1,53,936 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 4575 people have died. There are still 34,597 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 34,597, 11,001 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 840,710 people have been tested in the district.
The 1,93,013 patients include 105,905 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 55,234 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 6661 from Cantonment areas, 21,419 are from Rural areas, and 6661 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,280,422 across the country. Out of this, 3,323,950 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 72,775 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 883,697 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
