Pune: 48-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Mundhwa; Police Probe Underway
Mundhwa, 12th May 2025: A 48-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances near the Ganapati Temple close to Rajshri Shahu Maharaj School in Mundhwa on Monday morning.
According to Senior Police Inspector Maya Deore of Mundhwa Police Station, the man was found unconscious and frothing at the mouth. Upon receiving the report, Deore and her team rushed to the scene and launched a preliminary inquiry.
The deceased has been identified as Laxman Madhavrao Gaikwad, a painter by profession, who was residing in Jadhav Vasti, Mundhwa. Police have informed his 22-year-old son, Sanjay Laxman Gaikwad, and the body has been sent to Sassoon General Hospital for post-mortem examination.
While no injuries were found on the body during the initial investigation, police have not ruled out any possibilities. The Mundhwa police are continuing their probe to determine the exact cause of death.
