Thunderstorm Alert Issued for Parts of Maharashtra, Including Pune
Pune, 12th May 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning at 1:00 PM today, forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and moderate rain with gusty winds reaching speeds of 50–60 kmph.
The alert is applicable for isolated areas in the districts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Nashik, Pune, and Ahilyanagar over the next 3 to 4 hours. Residents in these regions are advised to exercise caution while venturing outdoors and to stay updated with official weather advisories.
