Pune: 49-Year-Old Man Dies After Tree Falls on Bike in Erandwane
Erandwane, 26th May 2025: A 49-year-old man died after a tree fell on him while he was riding his bike near Alankar Police Station on Monday evening. The incident occurred during a spell of rain in the area.
The deceased has been identified as Rahul Shrikant Joshi, a resident of Narhe, Pune.
According to the fire brigade, the tree suddenly collapsed onto the road while several people were passing by. A car was also caught under the fallen tree, but details about additional injuries or damages are yet to be confirmed.
Authorities are conducting further investigations into the incident.
