The airport administration reported the highest single-day turnover of Rs 28,130 on 16th May, highlighting the café’s growing popularity.
Designed under the ‘Udaan’ scheme, the café offers high-quality food at affordable prices, addressing a common concern among air travelers who often struggle to find reasonably priced, quality meals amidst the rush of travel. The café’s comfortable ambiance and value-for-money menu have attracted a steady crowd, with footfalls increasing steadily since its opening.
On 16th May alone, the café sold a total of 1,280 food units, marking a record turnover in a single day. According to airport officials, this surge in sales indicates that the café is successfully catering to passenger needs and expectations.
“We are committed to providing the best possible facilities to our passengers, and the ‘Udaan Yatri Café’ is a step in that direction. A daily turnover exceeding ₹28,000 shows the overwhelming response from the public. We will continue to focus on delivering such quality amenities in the future,” an Udaan Cafe employee said.
