The cause of the accident remains unclear, but Tamhini Ghat is notorious for its dangerous conditions. The region’s sharp bends, narrow roads, and poorly maintained infrastructure, especially during the monsoon season, significantly increase the risk of accidents. These factors make the area particularly hazardous for drivers, contributing to a history of frequent accidents and raising concerns about road safety and the need for infrastructure improvements.
