Indian Post Launches Next-Day Delivery Service from Pune to Metro Cities
Pune, 20th December 2024: The Indian Department of Posts has introduced a next-day delivery service from Pune to select metro cities, initially available at five major post offices in the city. By booking a Speed Post within specified timings at these offices, parcels can be delivered to metro cities such as New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad the next day. This initiative aims to enhance communication efficiency.
Below are the participating post offices in Pune along with their booking timings for Speed Post:
– Parvati Post Office: 10 AM to 1 PM
– Swargate Post Office: 10 AM to 1:15 PM
– Pune City Post Office (Main): 9 AM to 1:45 PM
– Deccan Gymkhana Post Office: 10 AM to 2:15 PM
– Shivajinagar Post Office: 10 AM to 2:30 PM
Senior Superintendent of Posts, Rippan Dullet, has encouraged citizens, corporations, and banks to utilize this service for faster and more reliable parcel delivery.
