Pune: 5000 People Vaccinated Under ‘Vaccine On Wheel’ Scheme
Pune, 15 July 2021: About 5000 people comprising disabled, orphans, transgenders, lonely elderly in the old age home, etc., have been vaccinated under the ‘Vaccine on Wheel’ scheme.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Additional Municipal Commissioner Rubal Agarwal on Wednesday felicitated Niramaya Sanstha for completing 5,000 vaccinations under the ‘Vaccine on Wheel’ initiative in just 20 days and vaccinated the homeless, without identity cards.
Trustee of Niramaya Sanstha Umesh Bhosale, President Adv SK Jain, MLA Madhuri Misal, Executive Trustee Jyoti Kumar Kulkarni were present.
Over the last few days, Niramaya Sanstha has been connected with various elements of society. They have also vaccinated the elderly persons who are unable to move at their homes.
