Talegaon, 15 July 2021: A 17-year-old boy from Talegaon Dabhade killed his stepmother with a sharp weapon on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Rekha Waghmare (40). The boy has been detained by Talegaon Dabhade police.
According to police, Rekha used to complain to her husband that the boy was not working and just wandering around. He was also unhappy that his father spent more time with the stepmother. Police suspect that the boy killed her for this repeated complaint.
Police are conducting further investigation.
