Pune: 6 Cars Hit By Truck Near Navale Bridge, No Casualty Reported

Narhe, 10th February 2024: A tanker traveling from the Katraj side hit at least six cars near Navle bridge on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway.

 

Following the accident, nearby individuals and commuters promptly came to the aid of all passengers involved in the car accidents, assisting them in exiting the vehicles that had been struck. Eyewitnesses reported that one car had overturned during the collision. Upon receiving notification of the mishap, teams from the Pune city police rushed to the spot and commenced rescue operations, apprehending the truck driver responsible for the collision.

This incident is not the first of its kind to occur at this location in recent months, raising concerns about safety and road conditions in the area.

 

 

According to eyewitnesses, the tanker driver was in a drowsy state, leading to a loss of control over the vehicle and the subsequent collision with the cars ahead. The accident resulted in chaos and significant traffic congestion on the road.

 

However, traffic police and locals swiftly came to the aid of the car drivers. No fatalities have been reported in the accident.
