Pune: 65-Year-Old Man Abuses Pet Dog, Arrested
Pune, 28th August 2022: A shocking and outrageous incident came to light in Khed taluka of Pune district where a 65-year-old citizen committed unnatural torture on a dog.
The village police arrested the accused and identified him as Bhivasen Dhondiba Takalkar, a resident of Takalkarwadi in Khed taluka of Pune district.
According to the information given by the police, Bhivas Takalkar lives in Takalkarwadi near Rajgurunagar city. A case was registered for offences under the IPC and Prevention of Cruelty Act, when the local people noticed the incident.
Residents, with the help of an NGO, filed a complaint at the police station. Assistant Police Inspector Navnath Rangat is investigating the matter further.
