Pune: 664 new Corona patients in Pune district, 531 cases in PMC

Pune, June 25 2020: With the addition of 664 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 17515 in Pune district. Also, 313 patients got discharged from hospitals while 22 people died.

 

Dr Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 17,515 patients 10,601 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 639 people have died. There are still 6275 active patients undergoing treatment including 329 critical patients. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 144,472 people have been tested in the district.

 

The 17,5151 patients include 13,760 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 2325 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 502 from Pune Cantonment, 149 from Khadki Cantonment, 10 from Dehuroad Cantonment and 769 from Pune rural areas. In the Pune rural areas, there are 11 from Baramati town, 16 from Baramati rural, 92 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 18 from Talegaon Dabhade, 8 from Chakan, 18 from Saswad, 2 from Alandi, 3 from Lonavala,1 from Shirur town, 1 from Junnar town,  13 from Indapur town, 2 from Bhor town, 2 from Vadgaon, 237 from Haveli, 26 from Shirur, 43 from Junnar rural, 46 from Khed, 40 from Mulshi, 35 from Velha, 17 from Bhor, 7 from Indapur rural, 22 from Daund rural, 43 from Maval, 16 from Purandar and 49 from Ambegaon.

 

Across Maharashtra, there were 3890 new COVID19 cases yesterday taking the total number of cases to 1,42,900. Also, 208 people died while 4161 got discharge from hospitals after being cured. There are still 62,354 active cases. Till now 73,792 COVID-19 patients have been cured. The recovery rate in the state is 51.64%.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 473,105 across the country. Out of this, 271,696 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 14894 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 186,514 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
