Pune: 785 New Corona Patients In Pune District, 23 Deaths
Pune, November, 21, 2020: With the addition of 785 fresh Coronavirus positive yesterday, the total number of COVID cases has reached 334,511 in Pune district. Also, 634 patients got discharged from hospitals while 23 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 334,511 patients 316,628 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 8254 people have died. There are still 9,793 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 9,793, 5891 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 15,34,906 people have been tested in the district.
The 334,511 patients include 166,209 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 90,289 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 6448 from Cantonment areas, 55,181 are from Rural areas, and 16,384 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 90,04,365 across the country. Out of this, 84,28,409 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 132,162 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 443,794 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
