Pune: 859 New Corona Patients In Pune District, 12 Deaths

Pune, November, 19, 2020: With the addition of 859 fresh Coronavirus positive today, the total number of COVID cases has reached 333,726 in Pune district. Also, 603 patients got discharged from hospitals while 12 people died.
Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, District Health Officer (DHO), said that out of total 333,726 patients 315,994 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while 8231 people have died. There are still 9,665 active patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals, also out of 9,665, 5872 are Home Isolated. Most of the patients are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. Till now 15,25,757 people have been tested in the district.
The 333,726 patients include 165,837 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 90,125 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 6440 from Cantonment areas, 55,003 are from Rural areas, and 16,321 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 89,58,483 across the country. Out of this, 83,83,602 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 131,578 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 443,303 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
