Pune: Aadhaar Card Will Now Be Required To Buy And Sell Koyta
Pune, 1st February 2023: Koyta (chopper) gang has been terrorizing Pune city for the past few days and even after a combing operation by Pune police, the terror of the Koyta gang is not decreasing. Also, it is seen that minor children are included in this Koyta gang. Pune police have now planned a new strategy to curb the Koyta gang and reduce crime in the city.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil has informed that if anyone wants to buy Koyta in this city, the concerned person will have to give a copy of their Aadhaar card. In the last few days, the use of Koyta has been seen in many incidents in the city.
Every koyta vendor in the city has to show their Aadhaar card to the person who wants to buy it before selling koyta. The buyer also needs to show their Aadhaar card. The police will have the information about who bought it, and the use of the same weapon will also be recorded in the book.
