Pune: Accident Claims Life Of Five-Year-Old Girl In Kondhwa, Accused Motorist Absconding
Kondhwa, 1st July 2023: A devastating incident took place in the Wadachi Wadi area near Kondhwa, Pune, as a speeding car collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the demise of a five-year-old girl.
The bike rider, identified as Indrajit Bandopant Yadav, the father of the deceased, sustained injuries in the accident. The Kondhwa police have initiated legal proceedings against the motorist responsible for this heart-wrenching incident.
The young girl who tragically lost her life has been identified as Gatha Indrajit Yadav, aged five. Indrajit Bandopant Yadav, a resident of Wadachiwadi, suffered injuries in the accident. A complaint has been lodged with the Kondhwa Police Station by Arun Jalandar Mandhare, a resident of Wadachiwadi.

According to police, Indrajit Yadav serves as a Gram Sevak and was traveling with his five-year-old daughter Gatha on the two-wheeler. The collision occurred in front of the Kalubai temple when a speeding car crashed into their bike. Both Indrajit Yadav and his daughter sustained severe injuries in the accident, but unfortunately, Gatha succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The police are currently conducting an intensive search to apprehend the motorist who fled the spot of the accident.
