Pune: Action On Encroachments On Vishrantwadi To Tingre Nagar Road
Vishrantwadi, 7th January 2023: The action was taken on behalf of Building Department Four of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on unauthorized tin sheds and other unauthorized constructions in front of hotels, and shops on Vishrantwadi to Tingre Nagar road.
About 8,000 sq ft of encroachment was removed. An official of the said department informed that this action was taken in the background of the G20 conference. All-day action was taken against unauthorized sheds in front of shops leading from Vishrantwadi Chowk to the Airport.
In this, the action was taken mainly against hoteliers. The action was taken against unauthorized constructions in front of Tulsi Hotel, Joshi Vadewale, Srishti Garden, Sharda Hotel, Garg Pedi, etc. Along with this, action was taken against Pan Masala Shops and Patra Shed on the road at 509 Chowk. Officials said that the same action will continue.
The said action was taken in the presence of Deputy Engineer Eknath Gadekar, Junior Engineer Kashyap Wankhede, Farukh Patel, Assistant Parag Gore, Police Inspector of Encroachment Department Raju Adagale.
