Pimpri Chinchwad, 23rd April 2024: Former Minister Aditya Thackeray revealed, “Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s money stash was discovered during an Income Tax (IT) Department raid. He approached Uddhav Thackeray, fearing imprisonment as the IT Department threatened him with jail if he didn’t align with the BJP. Shinde said BJP members were threatening him, saying ‘I am not old enough to go to jail; they will arrest me.'”

Thackeray, leader of the Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray group, accused Shinde and 40 MLAs of joining the BJP out of fear of arrest, claiming they were coerced into joining.

Regarding Sanjog Waghere’s application for candidacy in the Maval Lok Sabha constituency, Congress leader Manikrao Thakare, MP Dr. Amol Kolhe, Balaram Patil of the Peasants and Workers Party of India, MLA Rohit Pawar, Sanjay Jagtap, and Sachin Aahir were present. Before Nomination, Aditya Thackeray addressed the Vajramooth meeting.

Thackeray asserted, “The people have taken control of the election process. History will be made, and change will come to the country. The slogan ‘Ab ki bar, BJP Tadipar’ resonates everywhere. After mudslinging, BJP welcomes defectors. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was jailed for refusing to join BJP. The BJP is fighting for victory, but people are suffering from inflation and unemployment. Farmers are neglected, and prices of essential commodities have soared. BJP resorts to lathicharge against protesting farmers. By taking businesses to Gujarat, Maharashtra is in turmoil. Ministers verbally abuse women MPs, and gangsters influence governance. Can justice be expected from a government that associates with gangster leaders’ children?”

In response to this, Dr. Amol Kolhe, sitting Member of Parliament for Shirur, stated, “Citizens recognize who the real chef of city development are. To combat inflation and unemployment, we must take decisive action and achieve victory. This election is about self-respect; we must set aside grievances and work together. We must light the torch to vanquish traitors.”

Manikrao Thakare asserted, “The Mahavikas Aghadi will triumph in all five seats in Vidarbha. The same will occur across the state. BJP initiated divisive politics based on caste and religion. Sharad Pawar nurtured those who now speak against him, facing verbal attacks. Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party were divided by BJP’s conspiracy, signaling traitors. People are disillusioned and ready for change.”
