Pimpri, 21st January 2024: In a fiery address during his Maval tour on Sunday, Yuva Sena chief and Shiv Sena (UBT) Leader MLA Aditya Thackeray accused the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) of being embroiled in scams related to TDR, Garbage, and Corona.

Thackeray, a prominent leader of the Shiv Sena UBT group, vowed that once their government assumes power in 2024, individuals found guilty of embezzling public funds would be imprisoned and required to reimburse the government.

Thackeray specifically targeted Maval MP Srirang Barane, accusing him of aligning with a “traitor group” in hiding and marking his forehead with the label of betrayal. Furthermore, he alleged that Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar made decisions concerning Shiv Sena not by the constitution of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar but rather by following the constitution of the BJP.

During the ‘Maha Nyaya, Mahanishtha’ meeting at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk in Pimpri, Aditya Thackeray, accompanied by key figures from the Thackeray group, including MLA Sachin Ahir, Maval Organiser Sanjog Waghere and State Organizer Eknath Pawar, voiced concerns over the deteriorating political and economic situation in Maharashtra.

Thackeray criticised the incumbent government, labelling it a “box government” and alleging that it failed to address the needs of the people, leading to economic setbacks and a lack of safety for women, unemployment for the youth, and challenges for farmers. He cited examples such as the Vedanta Foxconn Company project, claiming that it could have employed one lakh people in Maharashtra but was diverted to Gujarat.
