Pune: Advance Possession Camp Organized by PCMC’s Town Planning Department for Road Acquisition in Chikhali and Talawade
Chikhali, 21st October 2023: Prasad Gaikwad, Deputy Director of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) Town Planning Department, has orchestrated a camp slated for October 26 and 27, 2023. This camp aims to facilitate the advanced possession of seven roads in the Chikhali and Talwade areas, marking a significant step in urban development.
Running from 10 am to 5:30 pm on both days, the camp will be held at the municipal schools in Chikhali village and Talawade town, where proceedings for advance possession will be carried out by the approved development plan for Mauje-Chikhali and Talwade, as per the Land Acquisition Act of 2013. The land acquisition process for certain roads is poised to commence shortly.
Road-affected property owners are urged to bring their 7/12 extract and any related counting maps for advance possession in exchange for Transfer of Development Rights (TDR) or Floor Space Index (FSI) within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. A nominal form fee of Rs. 100 is to be paid.
Forms ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be issued instantly upon verification of encroachment by the road. Once the TDR/FSI proposal is received, the Municipal Corporation will issue TDR/FSI by the approved Integrated Development Control and Promotion Rules.
It is important to note that the TDR/FSI option will not be available if a judgment has been declared under the Land Acquisition Act. In such cases, compensation will be determined by the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act 2013, said officials.
