Pune: After Brake Failure, ST Bus Hits Many Vehicles On Pune-Satara Road

Swargate, 28th April 2022: A Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus hit cars and two-wheelers due to brake failure. Some people were injured in the accident and they have been admitted to Sassoon Hospital.

The accident took place on the Shankar Maharaj flyover around 11.30 am today. The bus with passengers from Satara was heading towards Swargate. The driver suddenly noticed that the brakes had failed. He tried to gain control over the bus. However, the bus went on hitting the vehicles on the flyover. There were about 25 passengers on the bus.

The speed slowed down after the bus hit the vehicles and it stopped.
