Pune: After Sister’s Suicide, Man Stabs His Wife To Death

Pune, 19th November 2021: After his sister’s body was found in a well at Mandvagan Farata (Shirur taluka), a man stabbed his wife to death with a sharp weapon.

After that, he also tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. This shocking incident took place on Thursday (Nov.18).

According to police, Maya Sopan Satav (32), sister of Sameer Bhiwaji Taware (35) had gone missing from her house on Wednesday. On Thursday her body was found floating in a well.

After this, Sameer came home and attacked his wife Vaishali Taware (28) with a sharp weapon. Sameer’s wife Vaishali died on the spot.

After the incident, an angry Sameer tried to commit suicide by consuming poison. As soon as the neighbours came to know about this, they rushed Sameer to the hospital for treatment. Taware is currently undergoing treatment at Daund.

Pune rural police is further investigating the case.
