Pune: Air France Employee Booked For Stealing Valuables Of Dietician Returning From San Francisco
Pune, 20th October 2021: A 45-year-old woman from Pune lost valuables worth Rs 1.4 lakh during a flight from San Francisco to Mumbai.
Based on a complaint from her, Yerwada police station has registered case against an unidentified employee of Air France.
According to the police, the complainant is a dietician. Her daughter has secured admission in a reputed college in San Francisco. She had accompanied her daughter there. While returning, she had bought clothes, perfume, gifts, chocolates, and other items.
She had booked an Air France flight ticket from San Francisco to Paris and from there to Mumbai. However, her two bags were missing on arrival at Mumbai airport.
Later the company brought her two bags at home in Pune. However, her valuables worth Rs 1.4 lakh were stolen from the bag.
She lodged a complaint with Pune City police. After registration of case, further investigation is going on.
The incident took place between September 19 and October 3.
Police Sub Inspector Bhagwan Gurav is further investigating the case.
