Pune Airport AC Buses To Run On Five Routes With Regular Fares
Pune, 11th December 2022: From December 13, all passengers will be permitted to board the special AC buses operated by the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) for the Pune International Airport.
For airport transportation, the PMPML offers air-conditioned buses that operate along five routes and levies a surcharge for passengers.
Hinjewadi Maan Phase 3 to Pune Airport, Bhekrainagar to Pune Airport, Swargate to Pune Airport, Kothrud to Pune Airport, and Nigdi to Pune Airport are the five routes (to and fro).
Om Prakash Bakoria, Chairman and Managing Director, PMPML, said that starting on Tuesday, the five buses operating on five routes will have regular fares, and all commuters will be allowed to board the bus. PMPML began offering a customised bus service to the Pune airport in 2020.
Chief traffic manager Dattatray Zende stated that following the discussion with higher officials on December 12, special airport buses will run with regular fares.
