Lowest Temperature Recorded In Pune On Saturday, IMD Predicts Light Rain Over Next Few Days

Pune, 11th December 2022: Pune city and its surrounding areas recorded the lowest minimum temperature in December for the second day in a row on Saturday (December 10).

 

As the temperature dropped to 8.9 degrees Celsius, the night continued to be dewy. However, there is a possibility of some increase in temperature in the next three-four days with some rain, as predicted by the Pune observatory.

 

On Friday, the temperature in the city dropped sharply from 14 to 15 degrees Celsius to 9.4 degrees Celsius. Due to this, the night became colder. The temperature dropped further on Saturday. Currently, the minimum night temperature in the city is 2.5 degrees below the average. However, the maximum temperature has crossed 30 degrees during the day due to clear skies. In the next three-four days, there is a possibility that the temperature will change again, and the night temperature will increase slightly.

 

The cyclone in the Bay of Bengal has now turned into a low-pressure area, which may cause rain in some parts of Maharashtra. Pune city and district are also likely to receive rain in some parts. Between the 11th and 13th of December, the sky will be cloudy in the Pune district, and light rain is expected in some parts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a warning of lightning.
