Pune: Allegations of “Dhan Shakti” Surface in Baramati, MLA Rohit Pawar Accuses Opponents
Mulshi, 4th May 2024: In a public meeting in Mulshi, Karjat Jamkhed MLA and NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar party leader Rohit Pawar, alleged the utilization of “Dhan Shakti” (Money Power) in Baramati this year. Adding to the accusations, Rohit Pawar has claimed the disappearance of Rs 500 notes from Baramati Co-operative Bank. The ongoing battle within the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency has captured both State-level and National-level attention, with both sides exchanging accusations fervently. MLA Rohit Pawar has brought forth this fresh allegation as the polling date draws nearer.
MLA Rohit Pawar has posted on X (formerly Twitter), alleging the disappearance of Rs 500 notes from the Baramati Co-operative Bank. These notes are reportedly unavailable to account holders, prompting questions about their whereabouts. The secrecy surrounding this matter remains intact. Rohit Pawar has asked whether the timing of this occurrence, just five days before the election, is merely coincidental, or if it is the result of a houseful show with the help of Dhanshakti. He emphasized that the people of Baramati will ultimately decide its significance.
Meanwhile, Rohit Pawar criticized Ajit Pawar by uploading a video on X. The video alleges that money was distributed during Ajit Pawar’s meeting by the NCP Ajit Pawar group. Additionally, women featured in the video are seen displaying the money that was allegedly distributed during the meeting.
