Pune: Applications Invited for Membership on District-Level Inspection Committee under Juvenile Justice Act
Pune, 30th June 2025: The Pune District Women and Child Development Officer has invited applications from eligible individuals for membership positions on the district-level inspection committee, constituted under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act of 2015. The committee will oversee the inspection of registered and recognized institutions under the Act, with appointments to be made from among non-governmental individuals.
Two members will be selected for the committee: one representative from a civil society group working in the field of child rights, care, protection, and welfare, and one psychologist with experience working with children. Applicants must be graduates and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the relevant fields. The age of the applicant should be between 35 and 65 years. The tenure for non-governmental members will be three years from the date of appointment.
