Pune: Arjun Jain Tops State in MSAT, Shines as Rising Star in Science and Mathematics

Pune, 25th March 2025: Pune’s Arjun Jain, a Class 10 student at The Kalyani School and a JEE aspirant studying at Prime Academy, has secured the top rank in Maharashtra in the prestigious MSAT (Maths & Science Ability Test) conducted by the Dr. Homi Bhabha Foundation. His achievement has brought pride to his family, teachers, and school while inspiring young minds passionate about science and mathematics.

The MSAT is meticulously crafted to assess students’ aptitude in mathematics and science, fostering a scientific mindset and uncovering latent talents. Students who perform well in the exam are eligible for scholarships, gift hampers, and even a coveted ISRO tour.

In an interview with Punekar News, Arjun expressed his gratitude to his mentors:

“I’m truly grateful to my teachers at Prime Academy for providing the knowledge and guidance in Maths and Science that played a key role in this achievement. Many questions were from topics not covered in textbooks, but they were well addressed by the faculty at Prime Academy. I also appreciate my teachers at The Kalyani School and my parents, who supported me in unique ways. Their efforts gave me exposure to various forums and helped me succeed in many competitions. I’m now preparing for the JEE at Prime Academy and my school, aiming to pursue a career in science.”

An Early Passion for Learning

Arjun’s parents, Manish Jain and Rohini Jain, have played a crucial role in nurturing his talents. His father, Manish Jain, is an MBA and holds a BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, currently working at India’s largest NBFC. His mother, Rohini Jain, is a Chartered Accountant and B.Com (Hons) graduate.

“Arjun has been a sincere and focused child. The teachers at his school and Prime Academy have helped him clarify his concepts and build a strong foundation, enabling him to perform well in the exam. He has won various school and interschool awards over the years, proving his consistency and dedication,” said Rohini Jain.
