Pune: Army Jawan among two more COVID positive patients in Khadki

Khadki (Pune), May 12, 2020: Today two more Coronavirus positive patients have been detected in Khadki cantonment area taking the total number of patients to 29. The two new patients include an Army Jawan and a Jehangir hospital employee.

According to Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) officials, the person working with Jehangir hospital is resident of Khadki Bazaar near Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital. He is undergoing treatment at Jehangir hospital. Swabs of his four close contacts have been sent for testing. The Army man residing in Khadki is admitted to Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) hospital).

Meanwhile, the officials said that the Mohalla clinics have tested 1355 people in the last two days. Nine Mohalla clinics are operational in Khadki at present. More will be set up soon. Out of a total of 29 positive patients, 19 have been cured and discharged while 8 are admitted in hospitals. Two patients have died till now.
