Pune: Army Jawan killed with ‘Sodium Cyanide’ by Wife, her paramour

Pimpri/Pune, November 15, 2019: A 38-year-old Army jawan was poisoned to death by his wife with the help of her paramour in Rahatani and the body was dumped about 100 km away in the jurisdiction of Rajgad police station. Police have arrested four persons including wife of the jawan.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Pandurang Bhosale, a resident of Rahatani. The arrested persons are his wife Sheetal Sanjay Bhosale (29), her boyfriend Yogesh Kamlakar Kadam (29) of Kalewadi, and Kadam’s accomplices Manish Narayan Madane (32) and Rahul Ashok Kale (35), both residents of Kalewadi.
According to Wakad police station, Bhosale had been away from home on duty. During this period his wife Sheetal and Kadam had affair. When Bhosale learnt about it there was a quarrel between the couple. Sheetal and Kadam planned to eliminate Bhosale to pave way for their relationship.

The accused had first planned to kill Bhosale in an accident but he escaped. Sheetal, who has studied pharmacy, and Yogesh, who worked with a chemical company, obtained sodium cyanide. When Bhosale came home on leave, Sheetal offered him water in which sodium cyanide was mixed and he died. Later Kadam with the help of his two friends dumped body of Bhosale under the jurisdiction of Rajgad police station.
